Vanderburg's composition Mothership was selected for performance at CLICK FEST 2026, a juried electronic music festival hosted by Ohio University.

Overview

Assistant Professor of Practice Kyle Vanderburg's electroacoustic composition Mothership has been accepted for performance at CLICK FEST 2026 at Ohio University. Selected from more than 200 submissions, the work will be presented as part of the festival's international program of contemporary electronic music.

Context

CLICK FEST is an internationally recognized juried festival of electroacoustic and electronic music hosted by Ohio University. Acceptance is competitive, with more than 200 submissions reviewed by a panel of composers and scholars through a blind adjudication process. Selected works are presented in professionally produced concerts alongside contributions from composers across the United States and abroad. Participation includes formal performance, composer attendance, and integration into a curated festival program, making acceptance a peer-reviewed creative activity comparable to a refereed conference presentation in other academic disciplines.
